Sound bath therapy is an immersive, meditative experience where you are “bathed” in resonant vibrations from instruments like gongs, crystal singing bowls, and chimes. As you lie and relax, the sound waves slow brainwaves and lower your heart rate, guiding your nervous system into a deep, restorative state

Key benefits
-Stress and Anxiety Relief: The deep vibrational frequencies promote profound relaxation and emotional balance.
-Improved Sleep: Many use sound baths to quiet an overactive mind and prepare the body for deeper, more restful sleep.
-Physical Tension Release: Just as sound waves are used medically in ultrasound, the acoustic vibrations can help ease muscle tension and soothe the body without physical touch.

Salt therapy (also known as halotherapy) is where dry pharmaceutical grade salt is heated and then ground by a halogenerator into very tiny micro particles. The dry aerosol microparticles are then dispersed into the salt room during your session. As you relax the microparticles are inhaled. They pe*****te deep into the lungs, bronchi, bronchioles and alveoli. The non inhaled salt particles will settle on your skin
Its primary benefits include clearing mucus and reducing inflammation in the respiratory tract, easing skin conditions like eczema, and promoting deep relaxation to help manage stress.

Here at Glasgow salt therapy, we use the purest salt for maximum benefits

Glasgow city centre based

Dry salt therapy takes place in our climate-controlled “active” salt room. A machine called a halogenerator grinds pure-grade sodium chloride into micro-sized particles and disperses them into the air. As you breathe normally for 30 to 45 minutes, the tiny salt particles are inhaled deep into the lungs and deposited on the skin

Respiratory Health: The inhaled salt is believed to absorb irritants, thin out mucus, and reduce inflammation, which may offer relief for asthma, bronchitis, allergies, and COPD.

Skin Conditions: The salt aerosol is said to help balance skin pH and reduce bacteria, potentially easing symptoms of acne, eczema, and psoriasis.

Stress Relief: Many salt rooms mimic the tranquil environment of natural caves and promote relaxation and mindfulness.

Some of the benefits you get from 60 minutes in a salt room
Salt therapy, also known as halo therapy was really discovered in 1843 when it was observed that salt miners had much lower rates of respiratory problems compared to other workers

1985 - the first halo generator was created
