A big well done to GRC Racing Athletes; Chris, Lynn and Kaley proudly showing their well earned medals for their great race efforts at the weekend 🏅🏅🏅

Chris and Lynn both posting decent PBs at the Highland Fling 53 mile Ultramarathon, after a solid year of training and Kayley, completing one of the marathon majors at the Sydney Marathon! Great to see them all doing so well and putting all that training into some big successes! Well done team! 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏽‍♀️

Medal Monday 🏅 from the Dunoon Ultra over the weekend! Congratulations to our GRC Athlete, Ricky Reid, at his local ultra over in Dunoon, finishing first MV40 and fifth overall in a time of 5.06hrs with a closely fought contest late in the race with friend of the clinic, Chris Dickson of Ascension Running

Delighted to see both of them on that MV40 podium. Great effort lads!

Superb performances over the weekend for husband and wife duo Jonny and Mariam Kilpatrick at the Lakeland 100. A brutally demanding route of 105 miles and 22,000ft of vertical gain 🏔 and only 63% of the starters (approx 700 crazy people) finishing this year. Typical of the Lake District, the weather was mixed starting off in sunshine and humidity overnight 🥵 followed by periods of wind and rain 🌧 . Despite this, both finished in the top 10 🏆 Jonny proving once again he is up there with the top field, finished overall in 10th place in 23:18 hrs, a PB of his previous 2023 time. Mariam finished 8th female and also managed to take home the FV40 category win 🥇 in a time of 28:44hrs and a massive 6hr PB off her 2024 time. Well done Team Kilpatrick!!

It's that time of year again where husband and wife team take on their favourite racing event of the year: the Ultra Tour of the Lake District (UTLD). This time, both Mariam & Jonny will be doing the Lakeland 100. This is a very demanding and challenging 105 mile route with 22,000ft of vertical gain set in the beautiful Lake District ⛰️⛰️⛰️ They are no strangers to this event with Jonny completing the race in 2019 and 2023 and Mariam in 2024. Good luck to the Kilpatricks and all those at the start line this evening, Friday 24th July, 6PM.

A big shout out to our GRC Athletes, Physio Effect clients and friends who took part in the West Highland Way Race last weekend. An iconic trail that spans 96 miles from Milngavie to Fort William ⛰️🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️ Whether you were racing, support-running, crewing or spectating, it's always a belter of a weekend to be a part of! You should all be proud, as are we!

Massive Kudos to some of our GRC athletes from last weekend!

Ricky overcoming a late injury scare in his training block and do well at the Race Across Scotland 50 which is a fairly brutal 55 mile ultra in the Scottish borders. Awesome to see him pull that off with a great result!

Chris was at the Glen Lyon Ultra (31 miles) and had a good race on a fast course and some gnarly hills and river crossings.

Mariam formed part of a successful Bob Graham Round in the Lake District by our friend James. She did Leg 5 where she helped steer James over the last 3 of 42 summits, before a fast a furious road run back to the Moot Hall in Keswick.

Huge well done to everyone who finished the Devil o' the Highlands Footrace 😈 last Saturday in some pretty warm conditions especially our GRC Racing Athletes Ryan, John and Lynn! They all did great and are proud of their results! In this pic is Ryan and Lorne with the backdrop of Glen Coe behind them, what a stunning country we have! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 ⛰️

We also want to congratulate our clients who completed the London Marathon yesterday!

The Rainbow Arch of dreams!!! Good luck to our GRC Athletes racing the Devil o' the Highlands Footrace tomorrow. A 42 mile ultramarathon along the West Highland Way from Tyndrum to Fort William ⛰️ May you cross the finish line under the rainbow arch without being chased like your life depends on it 🤣

A great performance from our Jonny over the weekend at the HARDMOORS 55 Ultramarathon in North Yorkshire ⛰️ Jonny started off in the top field of runners and managed to make up some places to finish 3rd overall 🥉in what was a super FAST, course-record breaking year 😮. We are so proud of him! 55 miles, over 7,000ft of ascent in 8hrs 11 mins. He is at work today and should have really taken a day off, so if you see him, be sure to give his quads a little congratulatory slap 😜
