Feeling better is one thing. Being able to prove it is another.

Most people leave physio with a rough sense that things are improving. A bit less pain. Slightly better movement. Hard to say exactly how much.

That’s not good enough for me.

Every patient I work with gets tested. Properly tested. Strength measured, output tracked, progress recorded at each stage of rehab. Not because it looks impressive because it keeps the programme honest.

If something isn’t working, the data shows it before the patient feels it. If progress is happening, we can actually see it rather than just hope it is.

One of my patients put it simply:

“My physiotherapist uses data to accurately calculate results and track progress, which has made a massive difference. I am really seeing the benefits of our sessions.”

That’s what separates this from a standard course of treatment.

You’re not just doing exercises and waiting to feel better. You’re working through a programme with clear benchmarks, tracked results, and a physio who adjusts based on what the numbers actually show.

If you’re in Glasgow and you want rehab that holds itself accountable that’s exactly what you’ll get here.

Message me PAIN and I’ll tell you how I can help.

You’re not being dramatic.

You’re just exhausted from explaining it to people who’ve stopped asking.

Scan came back fine, but still in pain?

That’s not a you problem, that’s a limitation of imaging 👆🏾

Still in pain after trying everything?

That’s not a you problem. That’s an assessment problem.

Most people I see have already been through the GP, the NHS wait, the exercises on the sheet. Some have paid privately more than once.

They’re not hard to fix. They just never got the right starting point.

If you’re stuck, there’s usually a clear reason why. It just hasn’t been found yet.

Feeling better ≠ getting better.

Pain is one signal. But there are 5 things that actually tell you whether your rehab is working and most people never get told about them.

[full list in video]

Which one resonates most with you right now? Let me know below 👇🏾

Still waiting for your back pain to “pass on its own”? Here’s why that strategy is keeping you stuck. 👇🏾

A sheet of exercises isn’t a rehab plan. 📋❌

Ryan’s Rehab – Part 3

Still trending the right way.

Strength numbers climbing again.
Week on week.

But today wasn’t about chasing more load.

It was about what’s actually affecting him day to day.

Ankle mobility.

That’s been the limiter.
Not strength.

So we addressed it properly.

Targeted work.
Specific positions.
Loading it where it actually matters.

Not generic stretches.

Already moving better.
Cleaner patterns.
Less restriction through gait.

This is how you tie it together.

Build strength.
Fix the limiter.
Then progress.

Right now?

He’s in a strong place.

If this continues,
return to golf…
return to running…

Very realistic.

Built step by step.

No guesswork.

The best moment in clinic?

It’s not always “no pain”.

It’s when it clicks.

You see it straight away.

They walk in and say:

“Felt it starting this week…
but I managed it.
Settled it myself.”

That’s the shift.

They’re not relying on me anymore.
They understand it.

What aggravates it.
What settles it.
How to adjust without panicking.

That’s when things change.

Because physio isn’t just hands-on work.

It’s giving you the tools.

So you’re not stuck second guessing every flare.
Not avoiding everything “just in case”.

Especially with longer-term issues.

When someone can control a flare themselves…
that’s a big step forward.

That’s when you know it’s actually working.

If you’re still at the stage where every flare feels like a setback…

We can change that.

Most people don’t hesitate because of the cost.

They hesitate because they’re not sure it’ll actually work.

So they sit on it.

Keep doing the same things.
Keep hoping it settles.
Keep working around it.

But nothing really changes.

The better question is…

what happens if you stay exactly where you are?

Same pain.
Same limitations.
Same uncertainty.

Versus actually understanding what’s going on
and having a plan to move forward.

That’s usually the difference people feel straight away.

Not because anything magic’s happened…
just because things finally make sense.

If you’re unsure whether it’s worth it,
that’s the conversation we need to have.

Message PAIN
and I’ll break it down for you.
