A Comforting Presence During Life’s Most Difficult Moments
In times of grief, even the smallest moments of comfort can mean so much. A gentle nuzzle, a quiet paw placed nearby, or the unconditional love of a faithful companion can bring a sense of peace when words are hard to find.
We are blessed to have the presence of our therapy dog, who offers comfort, warmth, and compassion to the families we serve. With a calm spirit and a loving heart, this special companion helps remind us that no one has to walk through difficult moments alone.
We are honoured to provide care that extends beyond words creating a space where families can feel supported, comforted, and surrounded by kindness.
Thank you to our therapy dog for bringing moments of peace, connection, and healing to those who need it most.
For those who haven't already, meet BEAR 🐶

After the Silence
Grief arrived without a sound,
Not with thunder, not with rain,
But in the empty chair at dusk,
And in the echo of your name.
The world kept turning, calm and bright,
As if it had not noticed you were gone.
Morning still unfolded into light,
Yet every day felt strangely long.
I searched for you in quiet things—
The wind that brushed the autumn trees,
The warmth of sunlight through the glass,
The whisper carried on the breeze.
They say that time will soften loss;
Perhaps it smooths its sharper edge.
But love does not forget its home,
Nor step away from memory's ledge.
So now I carry what remains:
Your laughter folded into mine,
The lessons written on my heart,
A presence stronger than time.
Grief is love with nowhere left to go,
A river finding unseen seas.
Though I cannot hold your hand again,
You still walk gently here with me.
And if one day the tears grow still,
It will not mean I loved you less.
It will mean your light became a part
Of every breath, of every step.
