The wellness industry is churning out half-trained teachers who look good on Instagram and will hurt real people, and everyone is too polite to say it.
Like someone doing a weekend certification, learning one activating breathwork style, and teaching it to everyone who walks in the door.
No screening. No idea that Conscious Connected Breathwork can be genuinely dangerous for certain people. Just vibes and a certificate.
My course is 6 months. Not because I’m dragging it out, but because you cannot embody this work in a weekend. You can only intellectualise it, and then you go teach the intellectualised version to a room full of people trusting you with their nervous systems.
We start with the anatomy of the breath. Then holding space safely, which is its own skill, not a personality trait. Every technique, you do yourself first.
You don’t get to teach what you haven’t felt in your own body.
We cover both activating and calming styles - because one breath doesn’t suit all people, and if you only know one style you’re going to hand it to someone it’s wrong for.
A full module is built by an NHS nurse and breathworker on special populations, the people who get blanket-banned from activating techniques and Conscious Connected Breathwork with no one explaining why or what to do instead. Most trainings skip this entirely.
Small cohorts. I run them myself. And because most people who’d be great at this don’t think they fit the “breathwork teacher” mould, we spend real time helping you find your own angle, plus the business training to actually build something from it.
