🌞👓 IMPORTANT EYE SAFETY ADVICE – TODAY’S ECLIPSE 👓🌞

As your local opticians, we’d like to remind everyone to protect your eyes during today’s solar eclipse.

🚫 Never look directly at the sun, even for a few seconds. Ordinary sunglasses, camera filters or homemade filters do not provide adequate protection and can cause serious, permanent damage to your eyesight.

👓 If you’re viewing the eclipse, only use properly certified solar eclipse glasses/viewers designed specifically for looking at the sun.

📱 An even safer option is to watch the eclipse indirectly or follow a live broadcast.

Please look after your eyes – once vision is damaged by the sun, it may be permanent ❤️
