🦒 Blair Drummond Trip 2 🐯

Thankfully the rain stayed away once again and we had another fantastic day out enjoying all the animals!

The monkeys weren’t quite as active as they were on our last trip, but we still managed to catch the penguin feed and talk, as well as seeing the tigers! 🐯🐧

Another great day out with lots of fun, fresh air and plenty of animals to enjoy! 💚

💙 1:1 Time at Applecross 💙

Our recent 1:1 time was all about doing things our residents enjoy and making the most of some quality individual time😊

Angela enjoyed getting out into the community for some shopping and lunch in Barrhead while others enjoyed board games 🎲, music 🎶 and quizzes.

It was lovely to see everyone enjoying activities suited to their own interests and having some fun along the way! 💕✨

This is a fantastic achievement and a real reflection of the dedication, compassion and hard work shown every day by our incredible team.

🍫✨ Roald Dahl Day! ✨🍫

Residents enjoyed watching some clips from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory 🎬🍿 before getting creative and designing their very own Wonka bars!

And of course, no Wonka-themed afternoon would be complete without a delicious hot chocolate to enjoy along the way! ☕🍫😋

🎉 BINGO! 🎉

Bingo Fridays are always a hit in Arran Unit! 🥳 Our residents enjoyed an afternoon of fun, laughter and plenty of “eyes down” moments and some residents from other units joined us too! 👏

It was lovely to see everyone getting involved, enjoying each other’s company and having a bit of friendly competition along the way! 🏆🎉

🚢🎶 Our final barge trip of the year 🎶🚢

Although the weather was a little wet, it certainly didn’t dampen our spirits! ☔️😄 After enjoying a lovely lunch, we were soon singing along, dancing in our seats and having a great time! 🎤💃🕺

As always, another fantastic day out with plenty of smiles, laughs and great memories made, a big thank you to Seagull Trust Cruises Kirkintilloch for their hospitality once again, we will be back next year!

🧡💚 Family Connections – This Saturday 🧡💚

Just a little reminder that our Family Connections afternoon is happening this Saturday 12th September, 2–4pm.

It’s an informal, friendly drop-in for families to come along, connect with other families and have a look at and try out our new Hi-Lo interactive tablet 🎮✨

We’d love to see you there! No need to stay for the full session — just pop in whenever you can!

Our residents love getting together, having a chat and enjoying some time to socialise…so we thought, why should our families miss out?!

We’re excited to introduce the first of our family-focused Saturdays, with plans to hold an informal social get-together for families and friends once a month. A chance to meet other families, get to know each other, have a relaxed chat and simply enjoy some time together☕️💬❤️
