🍽️💜 Ladies Who Lunch! 💜🍽️

Another lovely afternoon was spent at The Old Plane Tree, where our wonderful ladies enjoyed a delicious lunch, fantastic entertainment and a brilliant atmosphere! 🎶✨

There were plenty of smiles, laughter and good company throughout the afternoon, and to top it all off, Anna was our lucky bingo winner! 🎉🏆

Days out like these are a great way to stay connected with the community, enjoy experiences and create special memories together 🥰

🚗🧽 CHARITY CAR WASH – BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY! 🧽🚗

Join us at the Hurlet Crematorium on Monday 3rd August from 11:00am to 3:00pm for our Charity Car Wash!

Our fantastic team of staff will be rolling up their sleeves and washing cars to raise funds for MND Scotland, a charity that is very close to our hearts.

Whether your car needs a quick spruce up or a full shine, we'd love to see you there. Every donation, big or small, will help support the incredible work MND Scotland does for those affected by Motor Neurone Disease.

Target practice 🎯

As part of our Commonwealth Games celebrations, our residents put their aim to the test with an afternoon of target practice! From 🎯 darts and hoopla to our popular catch-and-release game, everyone enjoyed getting active, having fun and cheering each other on!

There were plenty of laughs, friendly competition and fantastic team spirit throughout the afternoon. Well done to everyone who took part! 💙👏

☀️ Lunch Outing ☀️

Some of our residents had a fantastic time enjoying a delicious lunch at the Old Plane Tree, complete with live music, bingo, and a raffle! 🎤🎱🎟️ There was plenty of laughter, great food, and even some dancing, one of our residents couldn’t resist showing off their moves! 💃🕺

The celebrations later were made even more special as we wished a very Happy Birthday to our lovely Mary! 🎂🎉

⛵️ Barge Trip ⛵️

Our residents enjoyed a relaxing cruise along the beautiful Forth & Clyde Canal, taking in the stunning sunshine and picturesque views💙

Perfect weather for a chippy lunch while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. It was a great opportunity for everyone to unwind!

A big thank you to the volunteers at Seagull Trust Cruises Kirkintilloch for a lovely time as always!

🎯 Garden Games 🎯

Our residents enjoyed spending some time outdoors soaking up the fresh air while getting plenty of practice in for our very own Applecross Commonwealth Games taking place next week! 🏅🎯 From fun outdoor games to lots of laughter and friendly competition, everyone had a fantastic time.

Meanwhile, others took pride in helping to care for our beautiful garden by tidying the raised beds and giving our gorgeous flowers a well-deserved drink. 🌸🌿🌺

✨ A great day out at IKEA! ✨

Lance had a fantastic trip to IKEA to choose some furniture! He also treated himself to a brand-new pillow and was delighted with his purchases! 😊

Now the excitement is building as he eagerly waits to see his new furniture put together. We can’t wait to see the finished result! 💙

🎾 Wimbledon Fun 🎾

Our residents enjoyed welcoming the start of Wimbledon in the best British tradition—with delicious strawberries and cream while watching some of the exciting matches! 🇬🇧☀️

It was filled with smiles, great conversation, and plenty of sporting spirit. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the tournament brings! 💚
