We close on Friday 23rd Dec.
Any collections must be picked up for 3.30 by appointment only.
We will re-open on Wednesday 4th January - usual business hours.

Our hours of business are:

Mon to Friday 9am to 1pm
Closed for lunch 1pm to 2pm
Open again 2pm to 5.30pm

Saturday 9am to 4pm

Sunday - Closed.

If you are collecting glasses or contact lenses please do so by 5pm Mon to Fri and 3pm on a Saturday.

We are still working within guidelines.
Door is locked at all times.
Knock the door when you come for your appointment.
We ask that you wear a mask on entry to the practice.
You will be asked to use the hand gel, and your temperature will be taken.
Please come on your appointment time and do not bring any shopping in with you.
Keep to the 2 metre distance.
Do not attend if you or anyone in your bubble have any covid symptoms.

We are now allowed to do Routine Eye Tests as of Monday 3rd August. Please telephone the practice on 772 4427 to make an appointment.
Restrictions are still in place. Do not attend if you or a family member have any symptons of Covid-19. Remote consultations are still available to those unable to attend the practice but have an emergency like sore sticky or red eye. Flashing lights and/or floaters or see an aura.
Please note that face masks must be worn in the practice unless you have a medical exception. Hand sanitiser is available as you come in the door.
We are using controlled entry into the practice. If you have an appointment, just knock on the door and a member of staff will let you in. We are still keeping to the 2 metre rule as much as possible for your safety and ours.
Appointments will also be given for the collection of glasses or contact lenses. For any queries please call the practice.

We are opened, but with guidelines in place.
At the moment we cannot carry out routine sight tests.
If however, you have a sore/red eye, problem with your vision - blurriness, flashing lights, black dots/floaters or anything that is giving you concern, then please phone the practice on 0141 772 4427. We will either do a telephone/video consult or arrange an appointment with the Optician.
You will be asked if you or a family member has symptoms of Covid 19. If so, you cannot attend the practice, but the optician will call you back when she is available to discuss your options.
If you have lost/broken your glasses please call the practice and we will help you as best we can.
Anyone attending the practice will be given an appointment time even for a collection of glasses/contact lenses.
Anyone coming into the practice MUST wear a face covering.
We have started a routine sight test waiting list and all you have to do is call the practice and request that we add your name to it. We will then call you to arrange your appointment when allowed.
Please note that we will be closed on Monday 20th July as part of the holiday weekend.
