Last week we met with old and new faces. Eve try retailer had the opportunity to share their past week, their story, their frustration.

Bottling up and painting on a smile is not something we need just to do.

Reflecting on these lovely ladies stories. (Yes this is a fan picture!)

Roopie Gill, the first PostMistress to get reinstated following the Horizon Scandel and now goes to work everyday as she should have following such adversity.

Judith Smitham relating to so many in the room with her journey with frail and elderly parents whilst still running her businesses.

Both ladies opened up and shared in a room in Coventry to share their story of resilience. There wasn’t an ounce of weakness just sheer strength in sharing.

Personally I have spoken to both how much I admire them, and if it’s ok to say, proud of them. Their voice represents so many of us. Some are different struggles; some are so similar. Their videos are up on the Better Retailing website. I urge you all to watch. They are very powerful.

We wish we were set up sooner to have been able to provide support to both. We are here now for you all. Every independent retailer. To vent. To support. To celebrate.

Every Monday at 7pm. We are on tonight. Don’t worry if you are late we will still be there between 7-8.30pm. Jump on when you can.
