Sometimes it’s not the class you remember.

It’s the person you met there.

The mum who made you laugh when you were having a rubbish day.

The familiar face you started saying hello to every week.

The conversation that somehow turned into an hour.

The moment you realised you weren’t the only one finding this whole motherhood thing a bit… much.

Because having somewhere to go matters.

Somewhere you can bring your baby, move your body, learn something new, have a chat, or just be around other women who *get it*.

And over time, those little moments start to become something bigger.

A place that feels familiar.

A community that feels like yours.

A little bit of space where you get to be you, too.

That’s the bit we never want to lose at Nest.

Think you might need a little bit Nest in your life?

Life with a baby changes from week to week.

Your classes should be able to change with you.

Most baby classes ask you to commit to the same class, at the same time, every week.

But babies don’t read calendars.

One week they’re sleeping through the whole class.

The next they’re teething, refusing naps, or suddenly awake at a completely different time of day.

That’s why we built Nest differently.

Instead of feeling tied to one weekly class, you have the freedom to choose from a timetable of sessions that work for this week.

Need something active? We’ve got you.

Need to slow down? There’s a class for that.

Missed your usual session because life happened? Come to a different one instead.

As our community changes, our timetable changes too.

That’s why you’ve seen a few updates recently. We’re always reviewing, listening, and adapting so our schedule reflects what families actually need—not what looked good on paper six months ago.

Because motherhood isn’t predictable.

Your village should be flexible enough to grow with you.

That’s what makes Nest different.

Sometimes the best way to explain Nest is to let the mums who actually come here do it for us.

We asked some of our members to sum up their experience of Nest and, honestly, their answers are exactly why we built this place.

Because yes, there are classes. There’s movement, play, support and things to get you out of the house.

But underneath all of that is social wellness.

Having somewhere to go.
Seeing familiar faces.
Making friendships as an adult.
Feeling part of something.
Having people around you who understand the season you’re in.

We could tell you what Nest is all day long, but we think they say it better.

And if you’re already part of Nest, how would YOU sum it up? Tell us below.

A Baby Yoga Teacher Training manual that teaches you a list of poses was never going to be enough for me.

Because when you teach baby yoga, you’re not just working with babies.

You’re stepping into the postpartum period with women who may be navigating sleep deprivation, feeding challenges, changing relationships, loneliness, recovery, identity shifts and an entirely new version of themselves.

And at the same time, you’re working with a rapidly developing little human.

That’s why our training goes much deeper.

We explore infant development, movement and milestones, sensory development, co-regulation, connection and bonding, alongside what it actually means to hold space for mothers in the postpartum period.

How do you open conversations without trying to fix them?
How do you create connection between the women in your room?
What sits within your scope of practice, and when should you signpost elsewhere?
How do you make your class feel valuable even on the day a baby doesn’t want to do a single bit of yoga?

Because I want the teachers leaving this training to understand not only what to teach, but who they are teaching and the season of life they are stepping into.

If you feel called to work with babies and mothers in the postpartum period, I’d love to train you.

Comment TEACH and I’ll send you details of all our upcoming professional trainings including Baby Yoga Teacher Training, Pelvic Health Training for Movement/Fitness Instructors and Pre/Post Natal Yoga Teacher Training.

Allow me to reintroduce myself...

I’m Jenny, founder of Nest, but you might not know that long before Nest existed, pregnancy yoga was where so much of this began.

When I was pregnant with my first eight years ago, I’d already been teaching yoga for years, but I became completely fascinated by what was happening in my body. I retrained in pre and postnatal yoga and started teaching pregnancy yoga myself.

Then lockdown happened.

Like so many teachers, I pivoted online and built a pregnancy yoga membership. When we could finally gather in person again, that evolved into our pregnancy retreat days, bringing together yoga, birth preparation and maternity photography. They are still, to this day, some of the things I’m proudest of creating.

My fascination with this stage of a woman’s life only grew. I continued my education in pregnancy, birth and postpartum, and slowly, all of those threads began weaving together.

And really, that is how Nest began.

When we first opened Nest, I taught Pregnancy Yoga here before eventually passing the evening class over as family life needed more of me at home.

But now I’m going back to my roots.

I’m so excited to be opening a new 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐘𝐨𝐠𝐚 & 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 class, taught by me.

Expect relaxing mobility and stretching, strength work, breathwork to support you through labour and birth, and plenty of birth education woven throughout. Little pieces of knowledge and practical tools that I hope you’ll carry with you through the remainder of your pregnancy, into birth and even postpartum.

So, to everyone who has found me through Nest and only knows me as the woman running around behind the scenes...

Imagine a maternity leave where your world gets bigger, not smaller.

Where getting out the house feels exciting instead of overwhelming.

Where your baby isn’t the only one making friends.

Where your days are filled with movement, conversation, laughter and people who genuinely understand the season you’re in.

Motherhood was never meant to be lived within the same four walls.

If you’re looking for your village, we’d love to meet you.

Yesterday at Nest we tackled some of the BIG worries about starting school, and we couldn’t have asked for a better person to guide the conversation.

Laura from has over 14 years experience supporting children’s emotional wellbeing, helping children understand their emotions and giving them practical tools to navigate some of the big feelings that come with growing up.

Today that meant exploring the transition into school. The worries children might not always know how to articulate, what those feelings can look like, and simple strategies they can actually use when things feel a bit BIG.

All woven through conversation, play, arts and crafts and, of course, decorating and stocking their very own pencil cases ready for school.

We’d absolutely love to bring Laura back to Nest and explore more of the challenges that crop up at different ages and stages.

Would you like to see more workshops with Laura? Tell us your little one’s age below and we’ll start planning what could come next.

Play Café might look like it’s all about the babies.

But there’s a lot more happening in this room.

For your baby, it’s purposeful play. Time to explore, move, watch other little ones, discover new textures and enjoy uninterrupted time with you.

For you, it’s something we care just as much about at Nest: social wellness.

Because making friends as an adult can be hard. Making friends as a new mum, when your days suddenly revolve around feeds, naps and getting out the door, can feel even harder.

Play Café gives you somewhere to go where conversation can happen naturally. You start recognising the same faces. Someone remembers your baby’s name. A chat in class becomes a coffee afterwards, then a message during the week, then suddenly you’ve found people to do this season of life alongside.

Your baby gets to play.

You get time to bond with them.

And somewhere amongst it all, you might just find your people too.

That’s Play Café at Nest.

Come for the play. Stay for the village.
