This is clearly being spoke about online as ive been asked about it a few times in the last few days...
Does it bother me when people 'copy' what I do?... the answer... NO
Some people may claim someone has stolen their idea π but that's not me... if you take inspiration from what I do or want to replicate it, fire in... ππ₯°
I think we sometimes forget that very few ideas exist in isolation π³
Everything we know has come from somewhere... books we've read, conversations we've had, teachers we've learned from, experiences we've lived through, scientific discoveries, ancient traditions, or just noticing something in the world around us π§ββοΈπΆ
Two people can have the same idea at the same time without ever meeting.... It happens more often than we think ππΆ
What makes our work unique isn't usually the idea itself, It's our lived experience, our personality, our values, and the way we bring that idea to life π₯°
Instead of worrying who is copying who, I'd much rather focus on creating something that feels authentic to me...
Nobody else can be you and that's where the real value lies π
So please dont worry about anyone accusing you of 'copying'... no idea belongs to any one person... and if I had that attitude then I would think the entire west of Scotland has been stealing my ideas over the last 26 years πππππ
