This summer has certainly tested the allotment... ☀️🧡🌼🔥

The intense heat and lack of rain have made it a real challenge, with countless watering cans and plenty of hopeful glances at the sky.

Despite it all, our tromboncino squash are thriving, the pumpkins and spaghetti squash are slowly growing, and the artichokes continue to amaze me. 🎃💛💜🥰✨

The best part, though, is sharing it all with Alec. 💚 We checked on the vegetables together and even did a little rain dance...💦💃💦🕺💦 and would you believe it, the clouds are finally starting to gather!

Tonight's dinner is a homegrown tromboncino squash curry, made with our own onions and garlic too. 🧅🧄🧅

There's something so satisfying about cooking with food you've grown yourself.

Here's hoping those clouds bring the gentle rain the garden has been waiting for. 🌿💚🌿

🌾✨ Happy Lammas ✨🌾

Today we celebrate Lammas, the first harvest festival of the year. 🌻✨🌻

For me, it's not just about what's growing on the allotment it's about the memories made while we're there.
Watching Alec pick raspberries, discovering the first squashes almost ready to harvest, listening to the hum of bees as they move from flower to flower, and simply spending time together outdoors... these are the moments that feel like life's greatest abundance.

Lammas reminds us that every harvest begins with a tiny seed, a little patience, and a lot of care. It encourages us to pause and give thanks, not only for the food we've grown, but for the people we love, the lessons we've learnt, and the simple joys that nourish us.

As the wheel of the year gently begins to turn towards autumn, I'm feeling incredibly grateful for another season of growing, learning and sharing.

May your Lammas be filled with gratitude, abundance and a little time in nature. 🌾🧡🌾

I've loved having Alec this week
✨💙😇💙✨

He is such a funny, happy little soul who loves to be involved.

During the week he had great fun choosing oils for his evening bath.. 🛀🌿🛀

He chose Lavender for its calming aroma and a little Neroli to make it feel extra special. We mixed the oils into oat milk to help them disperse safely before adding them to his bath.

There's something so lovely about slowing down, making time together, and turning an ordinary bath into a little evening ritual.

🩷 🌿🪷Floating gracefully, yet deeply rooted. 🪷🌿🩷

Yesterday I spotted this beauty in the pond.

There's something truly magical about a water lily. Rising gently from the depths, it opens its beautiful blooms to the sunshine while its roots remain anchored beneath the water. To me, it's a reminder that we can continue to grow, bloom and flourish, even when life feels uncertain.

Nature has a wonderful way of reminding us to pause, breathe and appreciate the beauty that's right in front of us. Sometimes that's exactly what we need.

Happy Saturday! 🌿✨☀️⛺

Today has been less about blending botanicals and more about teamwork. 🤝😁🤝

We've been helping friends erect a marquee ready for an upcoming event.

There's something really satisfying about everyone pulling together, sharing a few laughs and creating something from the ground up.

Now it's time for a well earned rest.. and maybe a little Revive Balm after all that lifting! 🌿✨🌿

🌿 Back into the groove! 🌿

After a fantastic (and very hot! ☀️) festival weekend with Team Divine, it's straight back into the workshop today.
I've been busy making deodorants to fulfil your recent orders. 💜🌼💜

The regular size is always my go to, but I also make a handy little travel size for my Weekend Revival Kit... and I've recently made an even smaller one that lives in my handbag, ready for whenever I need it! 🌱

Happy 6th Birthday to Alec, my little helper and trainee Alchemist. It's such a privilege to be a part of a child's upbringing, guiding and coaching them into their future. Encouraging their natural instinct to be in touch with the earth and nature.
