This one deserves a little explanation…

I’d booked 3.5 hours for this appointment… 12 HOURS LATER I was still in the salon 😂

I already had a full back-to-back day booked, so by the afternoon I was rearranging clients, questioning my career choices and genuinely wondering if I was ever going home. 😂

I’m not even exaggerating when I say I was contemplating my future career at one point. 😭😂

BUT… look at the after 👀🤎

Swipe through the whole journey — before ➡️ during ➡️ after, and then the extensions fitted 2 days later.

20” weave + nanos and honestly… after the stress, the chaos and the 12-hour day, I’d say it was bloody worth it. 😍

12 hours of stress for a result I’m absolutely obsessed with. 🤎

Would I plan another 12-hour day like this? Absolutely not. 😂

Spend a day in the life of a hairdresser!✨

Yesterday me and the girl at .hair got personally invited to the event! I thought I’d let all my clients come and enjoy the experience with me through the screen💕

As many of you know I’ve been working with hair for many years now and to be offered a space at this event meant the world to me- and it’s all thanks to my lovely customers✨

Wether it’s a refit, wash and blow or even just a cut, every little thing helps and I can’t be more grateful for the support and love that is shown everyday when you lovely ladies sit in my chair!

We saw new treatments, makeup advice and many more and I can’t wait to show you everything I’ve learnt!

Any new bookings made from this date onwards will reflect the updated pricing. Please note that not all services will be affected, and I’ve kept any increases as minimal as possible.

I am a lecturer at Salford University, based at Future Skills, Salford City College, where I teach across the Foundation Degree at Levels 4 and 5, as well as the Access course. Alongside my academic role, I work 3–4 days a week at The Hayloft in Glossop, offering a refined range of hairdressing services, including bespoke styling, elegant updos, and occasion makeup, with a particular focus on bridal work. I specialise in luxury hair extensions, creating seamless, natural blends from added thickness through to full-length transformations. I also offer advanced mesh and meshless integration systems, providing discreet, tailored solutions for clients experiencing hair loss, with a focus on restoring both confidence and a truly natural finish — your hair is truly in the best hands.
