The Thank You’s are flying in for Volunteers Week!

To celebrate our incredible volunteers at St. Oswald’s this year for National Volunteers’ Week we are showing our thanks by filling the Village with personalised messages from our community to express our gratitude!

In addition to this, we still have our annual Volunteer's Thank You Party to come next weekend (Sat. 13th June) - which will feature a full party buffet and fabulous live music that will take us 'back to the Sixties' with the fabulous FOURMOST!

We are delighted and proud to announce that our Fitness Instructor Adrian has been awarded the Specialist Exercise Instructor Qualification from the British Association for Cardiovascular Prevention & Rehabilitation (BACPR). ​

Following on from months of dedicated hard work and study, Adrian is now a fully certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercise Specialist - meaning he can offer expert advice and devise specialist fitness / exercise programs to those who with cardiovascular issues. ​
Congratulations, Adrian. A fantastic achievement!!

A big well done to Laura and Rachael from our village wellbeing team on last week's event for World Sleep Day 2026. A total of £109.98 was donated to 'The Sleep Charity' as a result.

Residents, staff and visitors enjoyed a raffle which included sleep packages (Focused on Sleep well, Live better), opportunity to have open conversations about the importance of sleep and hints and tips to improve sleep quality. Residents especially found it very amusing seeing staff in their PJs!
