🎭✨ Tonight’s community outing with one of our wonderful clients took us to The Kings Theatre to enjoy Murder! Mystery! – And Suspenders! 🕵️‍♂️🎩

There’s nothing quite like an evening of live theatre, laughter, and great company. Supporting our clients to stay connected, enjoy new experiences, and remain active in their community is at the heart of what we do.

Last Saturday, Claire and Hayden enjoyed a wonderful social outing together, exploring the local area and creating lasting memories along the way.

At Lean On Me Care Services, social outings are about so much more than wellbeing and community inclusion. We also encourage individuals to build confidence and develop skills through meaningful activities. During this visit, photography and storytelling played a key role, with Hayden using techniques learned from previous courses to capture moments and tell the story of their day through pictures.

💙 June is Men’s Mental Health Month 💙

Mental health matters for everyone, but too many men still struggle in silence.

In the UK:
• Around 3 in 4 su***des are male.
• The male su***de rate in England and Wales reached 17.4 deaths per 100,000 in 2023 – the highest recorded since 1999.
• Men account for only around one-third of referrals to NHS talking therapies, showing that many are still less likely to seek support.

This month, let’s encourage open conversations, challenge stigma, and remind the men in our lives that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

A simple “How are you really doing?” could make all the difference.
