The Boundaried Horse

The Boundaried Horse We help exasperated social work leaders manage stress, avoid burnout and effectively manage organisational churn to build stronger more robust teams.

Hello, my name is Maxine Smith and my horses and I work in partnership, to meet the needs of our human clients. I am what is called an Equine Facilitator for Human Development. My job is to facilitate your experience and learning with my team of horses as, together we successfully work through and you gain a greater understanding of yourself, what you are experiencing in your life; whether you are

experiencing issues such as:

- Relationship Breakdown and Repair
- Creating and establishing positive relationships
- Stress and Anxiety
- Depression
- Job Changes
- Separation/Divorce
- Accepting Life Changes e.g. Mobility / Disability / Long-Term illness
- Recurring Past experiences

It might even be as you step up into the next level on your personal development journey where you are working on yourself too, for example; discovering who you are and need to confidently:

- Progress in your Career
- Grow in self-worth as you take on a new role or promotion
- Making Your Dreams a Reality, etc. It’s focused on what you want to work towards and achieve. Through your interactions with the horses, you will be invited to explore your relationship with yourself, your world and more importantly, what you have come to work through with us, in a very unique and personalised way. In return, the horses will give you immediate, honest and non-judgemental feedback on what you are going through; your situations and circumstances, perceptions, thoughts, feelings and attitudes assisting you to make those all-important shifts needed to grow into the best you. In helping you to understand you and your world through your learning with the horses, we will work together to enable to determine what each experience means to you, how you want to use them as you move forward in your world; who you want to be, decisions you need/want to make, potential action you might choose to take, boundaries you might want to set, and so much more. Adhering to Covid rules of social distancing and face coverings, our services are provided through Online, Onsite & Offsite Workshops, Training Courses, 1-2-1 Sessions and Consultancy. To arrange a no-obligation chat to explore how we can work together, please contact me on 07572 363041 or [email protected]. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you, Maxine

Coaches, can I ask you something?

Have you ever found yourself guiding a client through a process—a tool you’ve used countless times—only to realise you haven’t applied it to your own situation in months?

You know it works.
You’ve seen the breakthroughs.
You’ve witnessed the clarity it brings.

But when it comes to you… the tool gathers dust.

You’re not alone.

As coaches, we’re often so focused on serving others that we bypass our own growth edges. We’re human. We have blind spots. We get tired. Sometimes we need the very thing we offer others—space to be held, not hold.

So I’m creating something a little different.

Walking Your Talk is a group coaching space for coaches.
It’s a chance to experience a bit of your own medicine—
To be coached using the very tools you use with clients,
To reconnect with what you teach, and feel it land for yourself.

Our next session is on 23rd June.
At this stage, it’s completely free as we gauge interest and impact.

DM me if you’d like to be included.
Let’s stop doing this work alone—and start walking our talk, together.
