ith a basin and toilet, and residents are welcome to bring their treasured possessions to make their room feel like home. When a resident moves into Jubilee House, the skilled team find out everything they can about their experiences, interests, likes and dislikes, to produce detailed care plans that are personalised to their needs and wishes.

Our World Photography Day Tea Party was a fantastic success! Residents enjoyed looking through photographs, sharing favourite memories, and posing for some fun pictures of their own, all while enjoying tea, cakes, and great company.
A Big thank you to our kitchen team for some wonderful colour themed cakes. They were delicious.

🌱🥔 What a fantastic National Allotments Week we've had at Jubilee House! 🌻
This week, we've been reminiscing about everything we've grown in the past while also caring for the plants and produce we're growing today.
Earlier in the week, we enjoyed cooking with herbs harvested from our own garden, and over the last two days some of the residents have worked together to create an amazing collage celebrating our gardening journey.
At Gardening Club, we also planted our Christmas new potatoes and are already looking forward to seeing them grow!
It's been wonderful to spend time outdoors, share memories, learn new skills, and celebrate the joy that gardening brings. 🌿💚

🌿🧀 From Garden to Kitchen! 🧀🌿

Todays cooking Club session had a delicious twist as we used some of the garlic chives we’ve grown ourselves to make tasty homemade cheese biscuits!

After gathering the herbs, there was lots of mixing, rolling, cutting and, of course, plenty of tasting! 😋

The fresh garlic chives added a lovely flavour to the cheesy biscuits, making this a wonderful garden-to-table activity and a great way to enjoy the herbs we’ve been growing. 🌱💚

Nothing beats the taste of something you’ve grown and made yourself! 🧀🌿

A closer look at what's growing in our garden! Today, we enjoyed watering the pumpkin and tomato plants, admiring the blooming sunflowers, picking flowers, and harvesting fresh cherry tomatoes straight from the vine.

💜 Cooking Club: Lavender Shortbread 💜

As lavender season comes to an end, the Cooking Club made the most of this beautiful, fragrant ingredient by baking some delicious lavender shortbread. 🌿🍪

The lovely aroma filled the room as everyone got involved with mixing, shaping and, of course, tasting the finished biscuits! 😋

The morning was spent enjoying chair exercises in the garden, watering the plants, and picking fresh flowers. The afternoon was filled with fun and games, including dominoes, shove ha'penny, Connect 4, puzzles, and bracelet making.
