‘Same event, same race, same me... just three years apart 🩷’.

Lynsey (drayton_sw_group_norwich on Instagram) says that getting active and focusing on healthy habits played a massive part of her Slimming World journey – and helped her feel better both inside and out 🤗.

This summer, we’re encouraging everybody to follow in her footsteps – literally! – by taking part in their local Cancer Research UK Race for Life event. As well as the benefits you’ll get from being active, you’ll also be raising vital funds for our charity partner, Cancer Research UK 💜.

Myself and some of our fabulous Golborne Slimming World members are taking part in just 2 weeks!! 🤗😍💪🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Not my words 👇 but so relatable! This is usually me, give it everything and then have nothing left after a few weeks. Small important changes this time! 💪

❤️ Breaking the cycle!

Are you going to give it your all… just because it’s January and that’s what
you always do?

Or are you ready to break the cycle and make this the year you get to target?

Because there’s a difference between starting strong and starting right.

Going all-in for a few weeks, burning yourself out, feeling restricted, then sliding back into old habits, that’s not failure, it’s a pattern. And patterns don’t change unless we do.

This year doesn’t need extremes.

It needs consistency.

Honesty.

Patience.

And choices you can live with in February, March, and beyond.

Target isn’t reached by perfection.

It’s reached by showing up even when motivation dips.

By learning instead of quitting.

By doing things differently when the old way hasn’t worked.

So ask yourself today:

👉 Am I repeating what I’ve always done…

or am I ready to do what actually what works?
