Week Two : Dino Week

Week two, an action packed week! With dino theme crafts, fossil making, digging for dino bones & even having a visit from with some of their incredible reptiles!

🌿As the seasons begin to shift, we welcome Autumn into the woodland & explore the seasonal changes through hands on exploration. 🌿

We will celebrate Autumnal customs & festivals with themed sessions, as well as lots of open ended play.

🌸Week One : 🧺 BLACKBERRY FOREST 🧺

With a woodland bursting with blackberries, week one is the perfect time to forage & get creative. With blackberry art, potions & cooking blackberry crumble on the fire, there is lots to explore!

🌸Week Two : 🌽WELCOME HARVEST 🌽

An Autumnal harvest celebration!
We will explore traditional harvest customs making corn dollies & collect natural materials to make Harvest garlands.

🌸Week Three : 🏴‍☠️ Pirate Week 🏴‍☠️

It’s “talk like a pirate week”!
Expect pirate themed crafts, treasure hunts in the sand & a treasure hunt around the woodland!

🌸Week Four : 🦔 World Animal Week🦔

During week four we will celebrate world animal week, exploring the various types of animals & how to best care for them in our environment.

A huge thank you to everyone who has joined us over the Summer holidays!

All of our sessions have been fully booked and honestly, I can’t begin to explain how grateful I am to you all!

Grandma & Grandpa Forest School are now on route to Ireland in their camper van for a well deserved break.
I will be soaking up the time with my girls and planning some lovely days with my family before heading down to Cornwall.

I can’t wait to welcome you all back in September for weekly stay & plays as well as Halloween sessions during the half term.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this morning for the most wonderful session.

We petted lots of gorgeous animals, planted seeds, dug in the mud, raked the ground & even chopped vegetables in the mud kitchen.

What a way to end the Summer!

We had a wonderful morning making unicorn wands and decorating dragon eggs. And we somehow missed the down pour of rain !!!
