Very sadly announcing the passing of Chris, at home, in Snaith on 17th July 2026, aged 51 years. Forever entrepreneurial, known as long term publican at The Brewer’s Arms, The Bay Horse at Heck, Snaith Chippy and most recently the popular Little Tapas Restaurant in Snaith.
A dearly loved dad, brother and friend to many. Chris’s funeral will be held at Snaith Priory Church on Friday 14th August at 12 noon, followed by cremation at Memoria Crematorium, Barnby Dun. Afterwards all welcome to celebrate his life at The Bell and Crown, Snaith. Up the Owls!

Passed away suddenly, but peacefully in hospital on the 19th of July 2026, aged 89 years, of Snaith.
Loving wife of the late Terry. A much-loved mum to Adele, Michael and Anthony, and a very dear mother-in-law to Julie. Devoted nana to Melanie and her husband Simon, Hayley, James and Jack, and proud great-nana to Jay and Etta. She’ll be missed beyond words and remembered with so much love, always.
Funeral service at York Crematorium on Friday 7th August at 3.40pm.

Eric sadly passed away at home on Sunday 12th July 2026, in Snaith, aged 69 years.
Dear Dad to Anthony, Sarah & Samantha, Father-in-law to Anthony, Sheron & David, Grandad, Brother & Uncle. Step Dad to Jane, his wifes, children, Ben, Joe & Louisa and step-grandad to Harley. Loved and missed by all.
Funeral service to be held at York Crematorium on Wednesday 29th July at 10.20am. Family flowers only and donations in lieu to a charity to be confirmed.
Afterwards to be held at The Charter Club for his family and friends at Goole, and the Brewer’s Arms, Snaith for his family and friends at Snaith.

On the 1st July 2026, peacefully at his home in Howden, aged 87 years, with Croda International Plc for almost 40 years and former player, captain and all-round legend of Pollington Cricket Club.
Dearly loved husband to Mandie. Much loved dad to Helen and Neil. Treasured grandad, great grandad and a dear brother and friend.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday 4th August at Howden Minster, 1pm following a private cremation. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, for Pollington Cricket Club. Afterwards at The Oaks Golf Club. Please wear something bright to celebrate Bob's life.
