One of the greatest lessons this profession has taught me is that success is not measured by comparison.

I am far more interested in building a career rooted in integrity, looking after my patients well, supporting my students, and continuing to improve my clinical knowledge than worrying about what somebody else is doing.

Comparison can be distracting. Purpose is far more fulfilling.
