We call on the Government to work with patients and GPs to co-design care pathways so that they provide clearer information and allow patients to track referrals. Government must also plan to train, hire and retain enough GPs for timely care.

Be aware of the common symptoms of childhood cancer, such as headaches that don't go away, being sick, constant tiredness and persistent pain. If you notice any of these signs, contact your GP immediately. Early diagnosis saves lives.

The GP Patient Survey 2026 results were published yesterday. The survey assesses patient's experiences of healthcare services provided by GP practices, including experience of access to GP practices, contacting the practice, the quality of care received from healthcare professionals. We'd like to give a warm welcome to Dr Matthew Bannon, who has joined our practice as a Salaried GP.
