💚 A big thank you to everyone who joined us at the Toy Exchange on Saturday! 🧸
It was lovely to see so many of you, and although we didn’t share our usual reminder post beforehand—which meant it was a little quieter than normal—we’re delighted that lots of fantastic toys found new homes with happy families.
Just a little update: there won’t be a Toy Exchange in August as it’s the school holidays and the church will be having some building work carried out.
As the event was a little quieter this month, we didn’t quite raise enough in donations to cover the cost of hiring the van. If you can make a donation in the collection pot located in the cafe this would be great. Every little really does help us keep the Toy Exchange going for everyone in our community.
📅 Our next Toy Exchange will be on Saturday, 5 September, and we can’t wait to welcome you back!
We’ll still be accepting toy donations throughout August, so if you’re having a sort out over the holidays, please think of us.
Your unwanted toys could become another child’s new favourite.
We’re also looking for a few extra pairs of hands. If you, a family member, or a friend could spare a little time to help set up before the event or pack away afterwards, we’d love to hear from you. Even an hour of your time makes a huge difference.
Thank you for being part of such a wonderful community. Your kindness, donations and support help us recycle toys, reduce waste and bring smiles to local children. We look forward to seeing you in September! 🧸💚♻️
