Update from India 🇮🇳

Thank you so much for all the love and kind messages I received after my last post. ❤️ I honestly didn’t share it for that reason — I just wanted to keep things real and share my experience as it is.

As you can see, what a difference just a few days of Panchakarma can make.

I’m simply sharing my experience so far, and I’m grateful to be able to document the journey along the way. 🙏✨

I made it. 🇮🇳

F**k me, I nearly didn’t though.

Had a panic attack at the airport.

As you can probably tell by my eyes, I’m absolutely knackered—mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Now it’s time to see what 12 days at the Rockholm Ayurvedic Centre in Kerala, India, can do.

Not sure why the quality is so poor 😏

When I first started sharing my healing journey through divorce, it was with my wellness community in mind. But I've realised that, for this season, I need to protect my energy rather than pour it outward.

So I've gone a little quiet. Not because I've stopped healing, but because I'm creating space to rebuild myself from the inside out.

I've realised that, instead of documenting every step publicly, I want to channel that energy into my own learning, healing, and quiet growth. Some chapters are meant to be lived before they're shared.

Watching Jude play the piano always warms my heart. Moments like these remind me why this journey matters so much. He deserves a mum who is healthy from the inside out—someone who can inspire him, guide him, and show him what it looks like to choose growth, resilience, and self-love.

This summer, I'm aligning with some beautiful opportunities, beginning with a trip to India to immerse myself in yoga and experience a Panchakarma cleanse.

My intention is to reconnect with myself, deepen my practice, and return with renewed clarity, inspiration, and purpose—for my classes, my community, my business, and most importantly, for the little boy who inspires me every single day.

Sometimes the most meaningful growth happens quietly, away from the spotlight. 🤍

So I've gone a little quiet. Not because I've stopped healing, but because I'm creating even more space to rebuild myself from the inside out.

✨ Day 11

Yesterday, my singing teacher asked me, “How do you get out of your head and feel joy?”

The answer came so easily

I absolutely love dancing to live music or a DJ set. It’s one of the few places where I feel completely free.

Nothing else matters in that moment—I’m not thinking about yesterday or tomorrow, I’m simply there, fully present, enjoying the music and the people around me.

I’ve also found my love for singing again. On the more emotional days, it’s not always easy because singing has a way of bringing everything to the surface. But I love that too.

So I’ve set myself a little intention: to learn three new songs really well, with the goal of singing at an open mic night.

I love meeting new people too. I’m endlessly fascinated by people’s stories, and I’m making a conscious effort to spread my wings again.

In fact, I somehow found myself in a recording studio the other day, singing with a band until the early hours. Life has a funny way of surprising you when you say yes.

Before I came to Gosport, I lived a big, adventurous life. I travelled a lot, collected countless stories, and met some truly incredible people along the way. Somewhere over the last few years, I think I’ve forgotten how much I thrive on experiences, creativity and connection.

These photos were taken at my beautiful friends Katy and Tim’s wedding. They had a singing waiter, and before long so many of us were up dancing.

I was also incredibly honoured to be asked to do a reading on their special day. I wrote them a poem—far too long to share here—but writing it reminded me how deeply therapeutic creative writing is for me. I have a feeling it’ll become an important part of my journey as a celebrant too.

Reflecting on all of this, I’ve realised just how much I’ve contracted into myself, when what I really crave is freedom, presence and expansion.

So my intention for the second half of this year is simple:

To be more present.
To say yes more.
To create more.
To sing more.
To dance more.
To write more.
To connect more.

To embrace the moments that make me feel most alive and give myself permission to expand again. ❤️

✨ Day 10

“Where words fail, music speaks."

My heart is absolutely bursting with pride today. I couldn’t be prouder of Jude.

His wonderful piano teacher, Emma Cutler, held a concert for all of her students, giving each of them the opportunity to perform and celebrate how far they’ve come.

Every single performance was amazing, and it was such a beautiful reflection of Emma’s dedication, patience, and talent as a teacher.

Thank you for inspiring and encouraging these incredible young musicians. ✨
