🌸 Our Final Activity Day... for now! 🌸

Last week we wrapped up our latest Activity Day with a wonderful flower arranging session, and what a lovely way to finish. 🌼💐

It has been fantastic to see so many smiles, creativity and friendships develop over the past few weeks. From painting and crafts to games and flower arranging, we've loved spending time with everyone who has joined us.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, supported and helped make these sessions such a success. ❤️

While this marks the end of our current programme, it certainly isn't goodbye! We're already busy planning new activity sessions for the future, and we can't wait to share what's coming next.

🌟 Celebrating one of our amazing team members! 🌟

At Bay Home Care, we love recognising the talents and achievements of our team – both in and out of work.

A huge congratulations to Jane, who, alongside her partner Stu, has written and illustrated a wonderful series of children's books.

The inspiration came from Stu's magical idea of Wibbledeeday – a secret day that only children know about. Together they've brought those stories to life with Pool Party and The Space Race, both available now on Amazon. Jane was then inspired to write and illustrate The Moonlight Garden, which is due for release this weekend, with Hopalotasurus coming soon.

As Jane says:

"We believe that all the best adventures start with imagination, whether you're young or old. Let it run free and see where the adventure takes you."

We're incredibly proud to have someone so creative and passionate as part of the Bay Home Care family. Congratulations, Jane—we wish you and Stu every success with your books, and we hope they inspire many young readers to discover the joy of imagination.

🎲🎉 Activity Day #3 – Games Day! 🎉🎲

What a fantastic day of fun, laughter, and friendly competition! Our clients thoroughly enjoyed taking part in a variety of games, bringing everyone together for an afternoon filled with smiles and great memories. 😊

From testing skills and teamwork to sharing plenty of laughs, today was a wonderful reminder of how activities can boost wellbeing, confidence, and social connection.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined in and made Games Day such a success! 💙

A fantastic start to our new Community Activity Sessions at Cartmel Village Hall today! 🎨

Our first session focused on art and creativity, with everyone enjoying a relaxed few hours of painting, led by the very talented Josie and supported by Hannah and Bailey. It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm, laughter, and some very impressive artwork being created.

A big thank you to everyone who attended. We are already looking forward to next week's session!
