💜 Our hybrid fleet is our pride and joy.

People often comment on how immaculate our vehicles look, but this is one of the little things that helps keep them that way.

Rather than drying our vehicles with towels, Neil is using an air dryer to remove every last drop of water. Less contact with the paintwork means fewer fine scratches and swirl marks, helping to maintain the deep shine and finish of our hybrid fleet.

Our vehicles are our pride and joy, and we believe they should always be presented to the very highest standard. They are often one of the first things a family sees on the day of a funeral, so every detail matters.

It’s just one small example of the care, attention and pride that goes into everything we do.

Today’s media coverage will have been deeply upsetting for many people.

Our thoughts are with every family affected by the events that have led to today’s sentencing. No family should ever have to question whether their loved one has been treated with the dignity, care and respect they deserve.

At John Ross Funeral Services, we believe every family should be able to place their loved one into the care of a funeral director with complete confidence.

We welcome the continued development of professional standards within our profession. In Scotland, funeral directors are now required to comply with the Scottish Government’s statutory Code of Practice, setting clear standards for the care of the deceased, funeral premises and the services provided to families.

As members of the Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF), we are also committed to maintaining high professional standards, ongoing training and a recognised Code of Practice.

For over 135 years, our family has had the privilege of caring for families across Badenoch and Strathspey. Every person entrusted to us is treated with the same dignity, compassion and respect that we would expect for members of our own family.

Choosing a funeral director is one of the most important decisions you will ever make. If you have any questions about how we care for those entrusted to us, the standards we work to, or any aspect of arranging a funeral, we are always happy to have an open conversation.

Thank you for the trust you continue to place in our family to care for yours.

Thank you to the Independent Funeral Directors College for sharing this.

It was a privilege to receive my Diploma in Funeral Directing (Dip FD) at the awards day. I’m grateful to everyone at the College, particularly Nicola Jarmaine and David Gresty, for their support and guidance throughout the course.

I’d also like to thank everyone who has supported and encouraged me along the way. Continuous learning is so important in our profession and I’m proud to bring the knowledge and skills I’ve gained back to John Ross Funeral Services Ltd as we continue to care for families across our community.

Nikki Ross of John Ross Funeral Services Ltd received her Diploma modules 2 and 3 plus her overarching framed certificate at our awards day from Trainer and Principal David Gresty.
Congratulations Nikki Ross Dip FD
