Companionship is about more than having someone nearby.

A friendly conversation, shared activity, or regular visit can help reduce feelings of loneliness, improve wellbeing, and provide valuable social connection.

Many of the people we support tell us that having someone they trust to spend time with can make a significant difference to their day.

Our companionship services are designed to provide meaningful support while helping people remain independent in their own homes and communities.

Caring for a loved one can be rewarding, but it can also be physically and emotionally demanding.

Respite support provides family carers with the opportunity to take a break while knowing their loved one is receiving professional, compassionate care.

Whether support is needed for a few hours, a weekend, or a longer period, respite care can help maintain wellbeing for both the individual receiving care and their family.

At Maplewood Independent Living, we provide flexible respite support designed around individual needs and preferences.
