Preseli bluestone is a rare, spotted igneous rock (dolerite) from the Preseli Hills in Pembrokeshire, Wales. It is famous for forming the ancient inner ring of monoliths at Stonehenge, transported roughly 150 to 200 miles from Wales over 5,000 years ago
