🐾 A Wish Granted – A Special Visit to Birmingham Dogs Home 🐾

Our residents had a wonderful wish—to visit Birmingham Dogs Home and spend time with the amazing dogs waiting for their forever homes. We were delighted to make that wish come true!

We thoroughly enjoyed meeting the dogs, learning about the incredible work the team does, and seeing first-hand the love and care given to every animal. The visit brought so many smiles, and special moments, leaving everyone feeling happy, fulfilled, and proud to have been able to support such a fantastic charity.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who kindly donated blankets, towels, toys, treats, and other essential items. Your generosity made a real difference, and we were so proud to deliver your donations on behalf of our residents and community.

Together, we helped make some wishes come true while also giving something back to the wonderful dogs at Birmingham Dogs Home. It was a truly memorable day that will stay with us for a long time. 🐶❤️

Made with quality ingredients and plenty of care, it's rich, creamy, and every slice is full of homemade goodness. There's nothing quite like a freshly baked cheesecake, and we're so pleased with how it turned out!

🛍️ A Wonderful Shopping Experience at Wyrley Rose Care Home

Today, our residents were delighted to welcome Paul and his wonderful mobile clothing shop to Wyrley Rose Care Home.

There was plenty of excitement as everyone enjoyed browsing a fantastic selection of clothes, all from the comfort of their beautiful home. It was lovely to see residents taking their time choosing new outfits, sharing fashion advice, and enjoying a relaxed shopping experience together.

A huge thank you to Paul for bringing the shop to us and helping create such a special afternoon filled with smiles, conversation, and a little retail therapy. We can’t wait to welcome you back again soon! 💙👗🛍️

✨ Our Monthly Come Dine With Me Event – A Community Favourite! ✨

🌟 Today we hosted our monthly Come Dine With Me event at Wyrley Rose, where we proudly open our doors to members of our local community aged 65 and over to enjoy a delicious two-course meal in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. 🍽️

We’re delighted that this event continues to be so popular!We are now fully booked until October, with only limited spaces remaining for November.

If you’re aged 65 or over and would like to join us for one of our upcoming lunches, we’d love to welcome you. 💛Please give us a call to book your place.

This week, we took part in our own Flower Arranging Club at Wyrley Rose. Everyone enjoyed getting creative, learning new skills, and designing beautiful floral arrangements to take pride in.

It was wonderful to see so much creativity, laughter, and teamwork as everyone put their own unique touch into their displays. A lovely afternoon was had by all, and we can't wait for our next session! 🌼💐
