Thousands of young people will be offered protection against meningococcal B (MenB) disease through a one-off vaccination programme launching ahead of the 2026 academic year.

Eligible people will receive two vaccine doses, with the first available from July and the second from August.

The programme is for eligible final-year school students and those under 25 starting higher education or moving into student accommodation for the first time this autumn.

Check your eligibility and make sure you're protected before the new academic year.
