The Lindsay Clancy trial in the US and this devastating story and harrowing detail unfolding at this time is the focus of discussion across many social media platforms, friends groups, professional discussions and news outlets, and raises arguments and many questions around what supports are available to parents- Mums and Dads who are really struggling in the peri- natal period, or with experiences following a birth even further back, and do not know where to turn.
If you have been affected by this tragic story; or you are feeling anxious, in low mood or carrying difficult feelings, overwhelm, trauma or stress following your baby's birth; troubled by experiences associated during the birth or post natal period- or even from some time ago- we can offer help and support.
Sessions with an empathic, interested, warm, responsive and caring person who not only listens to you but helps you to get back on track and support your needs appropriately toward improved mental health and wellbeing- are available at this time for parents and carers at our base in Ladyburn Business Centre in Pottery Street Greenock.
All sessions are one to one, in person, and conducted by a trained qualified experienced professional, as we ensure confidentiality, and provide a safe space where you feel comfortable and supported to share the most difficult feelings and experiences.
If we are not the correct fit for your unique needs as with all of our services we will continue to support and stay by your side as we help signpost and advocate on your behalf to another appropriate intervention.
