I am currently recovering from a torn and frozen shoulder, which has significantly affected my mobility and day-to-day activities.

Since attending the sauna and cold plunge sessions regularly, I have noticed a considerable improvement in my comfort levels, helping to reduce swelling, ease muscle tension, and manage pain associated with my injury. The contrast therapy has become an important part of my recovery journey and allows me to feel more mobile and relaxed after each visit.

What has impressed me most is not just the facilities themselves, but the genuine care and kindness shown by the team. There have been occasions where my shoulder injury has made simple tasks difficult, and the staff have gone above and beyond to help me, even assisting with tying my hair up when I have struggled to do so myself.

This level of compassion is rare and has made a real difference during what has been a challenging period.
Another significant benefit has been the improvement in my sleep 😴😁

This week's customer in the Spotlight is Keithy. Keith has been one of our regulars from the start and been such a constant support for us which we are so grateful for, here's what he's got to say....

In October 2025 I came across Wellgreen Outdoor Sauna on Instagram.

As an enthusiastic runner and hiker, I’ve always had a love for nature and its connection; the only time I’ve done cold plunges is in streams after a hot day of hiking in the mountains.

I’d never tried hot and cold contrast therapy before, and I wasn’t really sure what the full benefits were.

I’d heard about the benefits of cold plunging and how it accelerates recovery from running, as it aligned perfectly with my running journey, I decided to give it a go.

After my first few sessions, I was genuinely surprised by how quickly the contrast therapy helped me. It hasn’t just improved my muscle recovery, but my mental health, well-being and sleep.
