During his time with Blossom, Derek shared so many laughs, days out and special memories with his carers, who became like family💙. As his care needs changed, it was time for Derek to move into a care home, where we’re so happy to hear he’s settling in well.🌸

With his family’s consent, Derek’s carer was able to create this beautiful video capturing some special memories from his final outing with Blossom. Here are a few words from her:

“Today was Derek’s last outing, and I feel so sad knowing our outings together have come to an end. But I also feel incredibly privileged to have been part of your journey and to have had the opportunity to make so many lovely memories with you.

Thank you for all the laughs, conversations and memories, Derek. I’ll always look back on our time together with a smile. You’ll always be Lord Sir Derek to me. 👑❤️”

Our client Melissa came in with her Key Worker and Senior Carer, Molly, to create a special poster for Su***de Prevention Month this September.💛

It’s an incredibly important topic and a reminder that sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is simply make space for conversations, listen without judgement and remind people that they don’t have to struggle alone.
