Pavement parking is a real issue across the UK. People don't want to block the road, and so they park on the pavement. Which makes sense - until you realise that this usually means making the path so narrow it becomes impossible for wheelchair users, rollators, and pushchairs to get past! Our only options might be to abandon our trip, to wait indefinitely for someone to move it, or to go out into the road - putting ourselves and others in danger.

These flyers are a handy way to let people know they are blocking the pavement - you can hand them out, or tuck them under a windscreen wiper etc.

Pavement parking obstructions put pedestrians lives in danger ⚠️ by forcing pedestrians into the roads risking their lives. They also stop pedestrians accessing their communities and become more housebound as they cannot safely navigate they miss important appointments and cannot access their essential journeys for essential items etc
Think before you park.. ! NO EXCUSES pavements are for pedestrians safety !
