We are delighted and excited to share some fantastic news! 🎉

Research carried out at SLC Medical Group has been accepted for presentation at the 20th International Menopause Society (IMS) World Congress in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil this September.

We are incredibly proud that two abstracts, focusing on improving menopause care in primary care and addressing the needs of women from ethnic minority communities, have been selected for presentation on the international stage.

This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication, support and teamwork of our amazing SLC Medical Group staff, and, most importantly, our patients, who continue to inspire and place their trust in us. Thank you for being part of this journey.

We are delighted to share that one of our GP Partners, Dr Sreekala Seepana, had a quality improvement project accepted and displayed as an e-poster at the British Menopause Society Annual Conference 2026 in Kenilworth.

“Raising Standards in Women’s Testosterone Prescribing: A Quality Improvement Audit,” was carried out at SLC Medical Group. It reviewed how Testosterone is prescribed for women in primary care and identified opportunities to further improve the quality, safety and consistency of care in line with national best practice.

We are incredibly proud that work undertaken within our practice is contributing to improving women’s health, not only for our own patients but also by sharing learning with healthcare professionals across the UK.
