My aim is to provide safe and effective treatments using the very best products on the market. I want my clients to feel not only great about the treatment they pay for, but the medical peace of mind I can offer. I have been aware of 'cheap' deals made available to people for a long time which as a nurse is worrying as this often comes at a higher cost to the client than money. My prices not only

include the treatment but a 24/7 on call service if you feel you need to speak to me. Many negative stories and images have made it to press which is important to highlight the risks involved with choosing a practitioner carefully. With my medical and aesthetic training I can assure minimal risk with excellent follow up care. I must also stress that if I feel like client expectations will not be fully met that I will not proceed with treatment.

Every treatment at Harper Aesthetics begins with a consultation.

Why? Because no two faces are the same.

Your consultation allows us to:

• Understand your goals
• Review your medical history
• Assess facial balance and anatomy
• Discuss suitable treatment options
• Explain risks and aftercare
• Answer your questions fully

For some treatments, consultation and treatment can take place on the same day if appropriate.

For others, a separate medical assessment may be required.

Our priority is always safety, suitability and natural results.

This is your face. It deserves proper planning.

The mouth area is often one of the first parts of the face to show age-related change.

This is because it is constantly moving. Talking, smiling, eating and repeated facial expression all place stress on the skin around the lips and lower face.

Over time, collagen reduces, skin becomes less elastic and the area can start to lose support. This may show as fine lines, deeper folds, flatter lips or a more drawn appearance through the lower face.

It is not always about needing more volume. In many cases, the issue is a combination of skin quality, support and structural change. That is why treatment should always be tailored carefully rather than approached with a one-size-fits-all plan.

At Harper Aesthetics, lower-face treatment is planned with balance, subtlety and natural-looking results in mind.

Anti wrinkle treatment does not usually work like an instant switch. It builds gradually, reaches its peak at around 6 weeks, then slowly starts to soften as muscle activity begins to return.

In the first few days after treatment, there may be very little visible difference. By around 1 to 2 weeks, you may start to notice the area looking smoother and movement becoming more reduced.

This is also why we review at 2 weeks, to check how the treatment has settled and make sure the result is balanced, effective and exactly where it should be.
From there, the treatment continues to settle and for many people reaches its best result at around 6 weeks.

After that point, the effect does not suddenly stop. It gradually softens over time as muscle activity slowly begins to return. This is why by around 3 to 4 months, movement may become more noticeable again, depending on the area treated and the individual.

That is why anti wrinkle treatment is best understood as a gradual build, a peak, then a gradual fade rather than an instant result that stays the same throughout.

As an Independent Nurse Prescriber working full time in aesthetics since 2015, one thing I never lose sight of is that these are medical treatments, not casual beauty purchases.

Training matters. Experience matters. Clinical judgement matters.

There are rules, responsibilities and professional standards behind every treatment I carry out. That includes proper consultation, understanding facial anatomy, knowing when treatment is appropriate, knowing when it is not, and making patient safety the priority at every stage.

Confidentiality matters too. Every client should feel comfortable, respected and able to trust that they are being treated in a professional, discreet and supportive environment.

A good result is not only about how something looks. It is also about how safely, ethically and responsibly it has been achieved.

At Harper Aesthetics, my aim is always to provide honest advice, careful assessment and natural-looking results in a setting where clients feel safe and well looked after.

Nobody is asking for a whole new face.
Just a slightly fresher version that looks like it drinks water, sleeps well and has not been personally offended by life all week.
Subtle always wins.

Not everything that is popular online is right for your face.

Social media can be great for inspiration, but trends are not treatment plans. What suits one person may not suit another, and a result that looks dramatic on screen does not always translate beautifully in real life.

Good aesthetics should never be based on copying a trend. They should be based on facial anatomy, balance, skin quality, movement and what is actually appropriate for the individual sitting in front of you.

At Harper Aesthetics, treatment is always planned carefully with safety, suitability and natural-looking results in mind. The aim is not to chase what is popular. It is to choose what is right.

One of the questions we get asked all the time is, “Will I bruise?”

The honest answer is, we do not know.

Any treatment involving a needle carries the possibility of bruising. Some people barely bruise at all, while others can bruise quite noticeably, even when treatment has been carried out carefully and correctly. It is not always about technique. Sometimes it is simply how your body responds.

Personally, I have barely ever bruised, until this absolute whopper appeared right before a holiday. Definitely not the practitioner’s fault, just one of those things that can happen.

That is exactly why timing matters just as much as treatment.

If you have a holiday, wedding, event or important plans coming up, it is always best to think ahead. Swelling, bruising and settling time should all be taken into account, rather than leaving things too close to the date.

At Harper Aesthetics, planning properly is part of getting the best possible result, and honest advice will always come first.

SKIN CAN CHANGE THE WHOLE FACE

Sometimes what makes a face look tired is not volume loss alone. It is skin quality.

When skin looks dull, dehydrated or uneven, the whole face can appear more tired. Improving texture, hydration and glow can make a huge difference before more advanced treatment is even considered.

At Harper Aesthetics, beautiful results are about the full picture, not just one area.

Lip lines, often called smokers lines, are fine vertical lines that can develop around the mouth over time.

Despite the name, they are not only caused by smoking. They can also be linked to ageing, repeated lip movement, collagen loss, sun exposure and general changes in skin quality.

These lines can make the area around the mouth look more textured and can sometimes affect how smooth lipstick or lip products sit. The good news is that, with the right assessment, they can often be improved as part of a tailored treatment plan.

At Harper Aesthetics, treatment is always planned carefully around the individual. The aim is never to overfill or create an unnatural result. It is to soften, support and refresh the area in a safe, balanced and natural-looking way.

The best aesthetic work is often the kind people cannot quite put their finger on.

You may look fresher, softer or more balanced, but still completely like yourself. That is usually the sweet spot. Good treatment should not announce itself. It should simply support the face in a subtle, elegant way.

At Harper Aesthetics, natural-looking results are always the goal.
