🏃‍♂️🚶‍♀️ Physical Activity and Diabetes: Free Training Available 🚶‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Did you know that regular physical activity can help people living with diabetes improve their health, wellbeing and blood glucose management?

The Centre for Diabetes Education & Prevention (CDEP) has a free Physical Activity and Diabetes learning module designed for health and social care professionals. The training explores:

✅ The benefits of physical activity for people living with diabetes
✅ Physical activity guidelines and practical advice
✅ Glucose monitoring and medication considerations when exercising
✅ Supporting people with diabetes to become more active safely
✅ Specialist guidance around sport and nutrition for athletes living with diabetes

📚 The module takes approximately 20-90 minutes to complete and includes:

✔️ A certificate of completion
✔️ A reflection form suitable for revalidation and appraisals
