✨ Wish Wednesday at Gracelands ✨

This week, we continued our special conversations with our residents, taking time to learn about the incredible lives they have lived. 💭❤️

We asked:
✨ What job did you used to do?
✨ If you had one wish, what would it be?

One of our residents shared that her most important role was being a stay-at-home mum, dedicating her time, love and care to her family. 🏡❤️

When asked what her one wish would be, her answer was truly beautiful… happiness. ✨

A simple but powerful wish that reminds us how precious the little moments are and that happiness, love and treasured memories are what matter most. 🌸

🍪✨ Biscuit Decorating Fun at Gracelands! ✨🍪

Our residents had a wonderful time getting creative with a little biscuit decorating! 💖 From choosing their favourite toppings to adding the finishing touches, there were plenty of smiles, laughter and, of course, some very tasty treats along the way! 😋

Activities like this are a lovely way to encourage creativity, reminiscence and, most importantly, spending quality time together. ❤️

Well done to our fabulous biscuit decorators — we think they look good enough to eat! 🍪👏

✨ Wish Wednesday at Gracelands ✨

This week, we continued our special chats with our residents, finding out more about the wonderful lives they have lived. 💭❤️

We asked:
✨ What job did you used to do?
✨ If you had one wish, what would it be?

One of our residents shared that she used to work as a maid in a family home, dedicating her time to caring for and supporting others. 🏡✨

When asked what her one wish would be, she shared a beautiful and simple wish… to sit in her own garden at home and enjoy the peace and comfort of a place filled with memories. 🌸🌿

A lovely reminder that sometimes the things we treasure most are the familiar places and little moments that bring us happiness. ❤️

✨ Wish Wednesday at Gracelands ✨

This week, we spent some special time chatting with our residents and learning more about the amazing lives they have lived. 💭❤️

We asked them two questions:
✨ What job did you used to do?
✨ If you had one wish, what would it be?

One of our residents shared that she used to be a hairdresser, spending her days making people feel their best and bringing smiles to those around her. ✂️💇‍♀️

When asked what her one wish would be, her answer was simple but very relatable… a lovely lie in! 😴☕✨

Sometimes it’s the little things that bring the most happiness. We loved hearing her story and celebrating the memories, experiences and wishes that make each of our residents so special. ❤️
