Today I did my third session with up and coming boxer and occasional kickboxer Andrew Perkins from The Dragons Gym in Trebanos. I have been sponsoring Andrew for close to a month now and am looking forward to seeing what I can add to his progression. It feels good to be helping a local athlete to attain their goals.

Today I spent the morning in Cardiff going over some interesting techniques. It was nice to meet new people and learn new things. This is all part of a team I have joined where we provide soft tissue therapy to professional sports teams from overseas.

This weekend I returned to Exmouth to join a workshop put on by The School. Dr Claire Minshull taught an excellent class on Strength and Neuromuscular Rehabilitation over two days. It was one of the best courses I have attended and I have come away with a load more knowledge that I'm itching to put into practice! One of the best things is that I can trust what I have learned. It is very difficult to know when information regarding anything to do with exercise is valid or research based, but when you have a top notch academic teaching you know you are in safe hands!

My camping in the haevy rain and late booking a B&B are somewhat less worthy of reccomendation. As is waking up in a tent with a biggish spider next to your head. It was halloween though, to be fair.

I haven't been able to work with Alys in over a year. Totally made up for her that she was selected to represent Great Britain in the Olympics!

The British Olympic Association (BOA) has today confirmed additional names to the swimming team that will represent Team GB at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games this summer, following the second phase of selection at the British Swimming Selection Trials in London last week.

Don't forget, I will be resuming working from Monday 12th.

It has been a long winter but I have kept to best practice and kept everything on pause during this time. Hopefully this will show that I take the health of those I work and interact with seriously.

I am looking forward to helping people make the progress they are aiming for!
