Last week I had the privilege of talking to a group of women at STRONGEVITY STOURBRIDGE | 50+ STRENGTH STUDIO on pelvic health and strength training.

As well as talking about the benefits of strength training on the pelvic floor,we also discussed the changes that can occur in the pelvic area during peri and post menopause.

At least 1/3 of women will not exercise due to pelvic health issues. That makes me really sad because the benefits are immeasurable.

Pelvic health issues such as prolapse, leaking or pain are not reasons to stop exercising. Appropriate guidance and support can give confidence to women to are concerned exercise will make their symptoms worse.

We had a great Q&A afternoon the presentation and everyone was open and interested in how to improve and prevent issues as they age.

The benefit of being a Strongevity partner is that I get to talk openly and honestly to the members about an area of health I’m passionate about ☺️

Does anyone else find it hard to walk past the beautiful, plump blackberries and not fill their belly 🤣

Blackberries are very similar to raspberries when it comes to their benefits. High in fibre, vitamin C and antioxidants.

Pick them bow and freeze for a lovely autumnal crumble or blend them into a smoothie.

I’m certainly enjoying the free fresh berries on my walks 💝

A long, healthy life is not built from one thing alone.

It is not just about lifting weights.
It is not just about nutrition.
It is not just about recovery, mobility, pain management, mindset, or lifestyle.

It is all of it working together.

That is why partnerships like this matter so much.

Because the goal is not a quick fix.

It is about getting to the root cause, offering the right support, and helping people solve problems for the long run.

When you are trying to improve your health in your 50s, 60s, 70s and beyond, the right support can make all the difference.

Different professionals.
Different areas of expertise.
One shared goal.

Helping people live stronger, healthier, happier lives for as long as possible.
