What an honour it was for me to lead Jake's ceremony for his amazing family today.
'Heaven Is A Halfpipe' could've been written just for Jake.
What a guy! 🛹

Today, we remember Jake.

Our thoughts are with Jake’s family and all those who loved him as they come together today to celebrate his life and say their final farewell.

It was a real privilege to do this for Ryan Hough.
When I first met Ryan (during Covid of all times!) he said to me 'I want to run my own funeral business', and here he is! Very well done Sir!!
He's a great Funeral Director and it's always an honour to work alongside him, assisting our families at their most difficult times.

'Twas a lovely trip to Shay Grange Crematorium for me yesterday when I read 'The Beer Prayer' for a proper joker who enjoyed a pint of Carling or two.
He also enjoyed a flutter on Saturdays too after REALLY studying the form and he very rarely lost!
There were plenty of smiles at Mick's ceremony, which was very well attended and his family chose some great music with which to celebrate his life; a life well-lived.
Thank you to Gallagher Family Funeral Directors for making such lovely arrangements for him.

This week saw my first visit to Walton Lea Crematorium, just outside Warrington.

It's set in the most beautiful grounds that are very well kept indeed and our Technician, Gary, was very helpful on the day.
Many thanks to Middleton & Wood Funeral Directors for making the arrangements for the lady's family.

It was Wigan Crematorium for me today to lead a ceremony for a gentleman who really loved his sport.
Being born in Preston made him a Preston North End fan before he developed a love for Liverpool FC in later years.
Living in Wigan made him a big rugby league fan....of St. Helens!
And he loved his cricket too, when he wasn't busy fishing on the Leeds-Liverpool Canal.
Rest In Peace Tony.

As a big fan of Gloria Estefan, I'm looking forward to playing this beautiful song as a relective piece in one of my ceremonies.
The lyrics are just perfect, it's a lovely tune and Gloria's voice is still amazing.

I often talk at ceremonies about how much happiness our pets bring to our families and the mention of a treasured pet's name usually brings an 'awwww' from family and friends.
So this article in Saturday's Daily Mail was no surprise to me.
It really does go to show just how much our pets mean to us. 😻
