A busy day out in the community for Customer Relations Manager Lisa today, starting with Hailsham Chamber Commerce business breakfast, followed by Uckfield Ageing Well Forum, a visit to Wealden Sports Park to check out facilities and see how we can work together and then an afternoon supporting we with Carly Cottrell from Home Instead Eastbourne and Hailsham at the community cafe in Willingdon!

Baking Club at Bowes House 🧁🍓

Today at Bowes House, we enjoyed our fortnightly Baking Club, and this week our wonderful residents made some delicious homemade fruit scones!

Everyone had great fun measuring, mixing, and baking together, with plenty of smiles, laughter, and wonderful aromas filling the home. The best part was, of course, enjoying our freshly baked scones together with a lovely cup of tea! ☕💙

Well done to everyone who took part we’re already looking forward to our next Baking Club session!

🎤🎶 Yesterday at Bowes House… 🎶🎤

We were delighted to welcome Keith Hayman back to Bowes House for another fantastic afternoon of live entertainment!

Our residents had a wonderful time singing along to some much loved classics, dancing, clapping, and reminiscing as Keith filled the room with music and smiles. It was lovely to see so many happy faces enjoying the afternoon together.

We were delighted to welcome Anthony from Exercise for All to Bowes House, and what a fantastic time we had!

residents thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the fun, interactive exercise session, filled with smiles, laughter, movement, and plenty of encouragement.

🌼 Bowes House Gardening Club Update! 🌼

Our Bowes House Gardening Club has been keeping busy, spending time potting beautiful plants ready to brighten up our courtyard. 🌿🪴

residents have loved getting their hands dirty, choosing the perfect plants, and working together to create a colourful and welcoming outdoor space for everyone to enjoy. Gardening is a wonderful way to encourage creativity, conversation, and wellbeing, and we can’t wait to watch everything bloom over the coming weeks! 🌸🌼

🍻 A Wonderful Afternoon at the Pub! 🍻

Today at Bowes House, we enjoyed a lovely trip to the local pub with some of the wonderful gentlemen from our home.

The afternoon was filled with laughter, great conversation, and the sharing of cherished memories over a refreshing drink. These special outings provide a fantastic opportunity to reminisce, socialise, and enjoy time together in the community.

It was a truly lovely afternoon, and we can’t wait for our next adventure! 💙

Today at Bowes House we enjoyed taking a trip down memory lane with a game of good old-fashioned Hook a Duck!🐥

The room was filled with laughter, smiles and a little friendly competition as everyone had a go. It was wonderful to see so much enjoyment.

A huge well done to all of our winners you did brilliantly! 🏆👏
