BSGE has moved to the system from 2026. This system allows much detailed documentation and also takes into account extra pelvic endometriosis.
A lower stage does not always mean fewer symptoms.

I am honoured to have been selected as a clinical expert on the NICE panel developing the draft guidance, “Technologies for diagnosing endometriosis in primary care: early use assessment,” which is now open for consultation.

The introduction of non-invasive diagnostic technologies such as Endosure and Endotest has the potential to transform the way we diagnose endometriosis.

Endometriosis of appendix is rare.
It is often missed on scans. Pain on the right side should prompt a consideration.
Putting this post out there because yesterday I removed 3 appendices as part of endometriosis surgery. Only one had showed up in scan. The other two were found involved at laparoscopy. Ask your surgeon if they will check/ remove your appendix.
