Important Patient Update

Due to unexpected staff sickness, we are experiencing significantly reduced clinical capacity today.

To ensure that patients with the most urgent medical needs receive the care they require, we are only able to offer appointments for urgent medical problems today.

If your problem is minor, your local pharmacy can provide expert advice and treatment for many common conditions without the need for a GP appointment. If you are unsure where to seek help, NHS 111 is also available online or by phone to provide advice and direct you to the most appropriate service.

If your request is routine or can safely wait, we kindly ask that you contact us on another day. This will help us prioritise patients who need immediate medical attention.

Our reception team will continue to assess requests in line with our clinical triage process and will advise you on the most appropriate course of action.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience, understanding and kindness towards our staff, who are working hard to support our patients during these challenging circumstances.
