This is why we use eye drops to dilate your pupils during diabetic eye screening.

It's so we can properly examine your eyes.

It's why we ask you not to drive to your appointment, as you will have temporarily blurred vision afterwards

Diabetic eye disease is a leading cause of preventable yet potentially permanent sight loss. It has no symptoms until it starts to affect your sight. If you are diabetic, attend screening. Call 01422 414700 to book.

Ok Eyenstein let's get this batch in the post! ๐Ÿ“ฎ

It's Day of Action for Women's Health, and since it is also Type 2 Prevention Week, we decided we wanted to mark both ๐Ÿคœ๐Ÿค›

So today we have been writing out to women in our area who we know are overdue for their diabetic eye screening, to remind them to get in touch and book their 20 minute appointment at a clinic.

Diabetes is one of the most common causes of preventable sight loss. It has NO SYMPTOMS initially so screening is VITAL to catch it early. ๐Ÿ’™

If you or your child (aged 12+) are due for screening, call 01422 414700, email [email protected] or check out the Patient Portal via our featured post ๐Ÿ“ฒ
