Hi. I see Heath Mount Physiotherapy keeps getting views on the page.
As you will see we are no longer working there.
If you are looking for us we are now
Michelle Dickinson Chartered Physiotherapist (working from home in Northowram)
David and Dan are Vale Physiotherapy (west vale)
Jim is no longer working as a physio.
Under current regulations we can treat face to face if phone advice isn’t appropriate to assist recovery.

Morning. Last week I managed to drive past Heath Mount and it looks like the new owners are getting on with turning it into a family home.

Today the building which has housed Heath Mount Physiotherapy has passed into new ownership. We believe it’s going back to a family home. We hope the new owners are happy and love the building as much as we did.

Hi to all our clients and friends
Some of you will already be aware there are changes afoot at Heath Mount Physiotherapy.
We will officially be closing out door for good on 21 September 2020.
So to the future.
Jim is taking time out to explore his other interests.
I have thought long and hard about my future and have decided to continue in private practice. I am going to set up a dedicated treatment room at home. This will be covid safe following our governing bodies guidance. I hope to be up and seeing a few clients by the beginning of October 2020

Thank you to everyone who has viewed us.

We are currently open on a limited basis we in reality have half the appointment spaces we had previously.

We are taking your safety and ours very seriously.

Well we are eventually up and open. We have a very different arrangement and it’s been really great to see our first lot of clients safely through our door. Please go with us as we go carefully with this. We are all learning together. Following the governments announcements yesterday we are pleased to confirm we will be opening on July 6th. We have fewer appointments each day to allow for safe arrival, departure and a thorough clean down between clients.

On arrival please go into the waiting room. Self funding clients will be asked to pay for their session at this point card payment preferred. Your physio will call reception when they are ready for you. Your physio will have face covering, gloves and apron on if you wish to wear a face coving please bring your own.

At the end of your treatment your physio will liaise with reception to book your next appointment if required. You will then leave directly without needing to visit the reception or waiting room.

Please come alone unless previously agreed with your physio. Please do not arrive too early as we are operating a staggered appointment system to stop clients meeting in the building.

You will be required to consent to face to face treatment.

Now for the obvious. Please please do not attend if you are unwell or have been in contact with someone who is unwell.

For appointments please call 01422 342649 leave a message and we will be in contact in due course.

Please do not just pop in for an appointment we need to take care of our clients, staff and ourselves.

Hi there to all our friends and clients.

We are hoping to be able to open on a restricted basis from Monday 6 July things will look a bit different and we will have less appointment slots each day to allow for thorough cleaning of each treatment room between clients.

We are planning making contact with our clients towards the back end of next week once we have seen how things evolve with the opening of shops etc.

We are well prepared to reopen and have planned carefully to ensure our clients are safe and we are also safe.

Should you be looking for an appointment week commencing 6 July please ring 01422 342649 and leave a message with your name clearly and slowly stating your phone number and who you would like to see. We will deal with the messages at the end of next week.

Quick update.

We are still not allowed to open yet. We are taking advise from our governing body who say all non urgent treatment should not be undertaken in a face to face situation.

We have ready for when we reopen appropriate PPE and have reviewed our sanitising procedures.

When we do reopen it we will be operating a staggered time slot system. This will ensure you are not in the waiting room with other clients. We will be asking you don’t turn up early or late as this would impact the staggered time slots.

We are also going to maintain no more than 2 physios working at the same time one upstairs one downstairs. Your appointments will be made directly with your physio ensuring you can leave once your treatment is finished. Payment can be made before your session at the waiting room desk. This ensures you don’t come into contact with the next client waiting.

We are ready to get up and running as soon as we can safely.

Please take care keeping our loved ones safe is the priority
