Amanda attended and took part in a ‘Funeral Director’s Fair’ at Bethel Chapel, Shelf, on Saturday 15th August. A lovely, sunny afternoon was had by all, with Cream Teas available in their beautiful ‘Shelf in Bloom’ gardens 🪴🌺

16 years ago today, I bought & moved into the old ‘Falcon Inn’ at Salterhebble Hill, and gradually transformed it into the beautiful Funeral Parlour that it is today 🤍…there have been some UPS & DOWNS along the way, but as they say ‘No Rain, No Flowers’ 🌺 Thanks to all of our very good friends & colleagues who have supported us along the way!

We took delivery of some lovely new ‘Scattertube’ designs recently - the large ones, which hold a full set of your loved one’s ashes, are £30, and the small ‘Token Tubes’ are £7.50.

We were so appalled & feel so very SAD for the families who put their trust in ‘Legacy Funerals’ in Hull to carry out the funerals of their loved ones, after watching the BBC programme this evening ‘Funeral Home Horror’, detailing the despicable actions of convicted Funeral Director, Robert Bush.

He was jailed for 20 YEARS, after it was found that 35 bodies were still on his premises, but whose funerals had allegedly ‘already’ taken place.
There was also HALF A TONNE of ashes found in his ‘care’ which have now been reconciled with the relevant families 🤍

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE choose a reputable Funeral Director who, like us, is a member of a Trade Association (SAIF, BIFD or NAFD) and is regularly inspected, when arranging the funeral of a precious loved one 🤍…and please know that we welcome Government REGULATION for the future at Amanda Dalby Funeral Services 🤍
