65 YEARS OF POPPY SELLING, WHAT AN INCREDIBLE ACHIEVEMENT! ❤️🌺

Meet our wonderful Winsome, who has been selling poppies for an amazing 68 YEARS! 🌺👏

For 68 years, Winsome has proudly supported the Royal British Legion, and not a single year has passed without her doing her bit to raise money for this incredibly important charity.

And when Winsome moved into a care home, that wasn't going to stop her! ❤️ Her dedication to supporting our Armed Forces community remains as strong as ever, and she's still out there helping to raise funds and spread the message of remembrance.

Winsome, your commitment, kindness and community spirit are truly inspiring. What an incredible legacy of giving back!

🎨 A Dutch masterpiece comes to life at Colne View! 🎨
Today, residents enjoyed a creative art session inspired by one of the world’s most recognisable paintings — Johannes Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring.
With paintbrushes in hand and the original artwork for inspiration, everyone got stuck in, carefully adding their own colours and interpretations to the famous image. There was plenty of concentration around the tables as everyone worked on their masterpieces. 🖌️🎨
It was a lovely opportunity to enjoy art, creativity and good company — and there are certainly some very talented artists among the group!
✨ A little inspiration from Vermeer, with plenty of individual creativity. ✨
