Janet Flynn

Janet passed away peacefully at Ryan Meadows Care Home on 7th August 2026, surrounded by her family, she will be sadly missed by all.

At the request of the family we can now share the funeral details for Janet’s service.

Janet will be received into St Joseph’s RC Church, Blantyre on Thursday 3rd September 2026 at 5.30pm.
The Requiem Mass will take place there on Friday 4th September 2026 at 10am and then proceed to South Lanarkshire Crematorium for an 11am committal, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited.

Charles Dempsey ( Chic )

Peacefully at Douglas View Care Home on 12th August 2026, Charles Dempsey, Chic as he was fondly known, aged 62 years passed away surrounded by his family.

At the request of the family we can now release the funeral details.

Requiem Mass will take place at St Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Cadzow Street Hamilton, on Monday 24th August at 10.30am. The cortege will then proceed to Daldowie Crematorium ( East Chapel) for a 12pm committal, all family and friends are respectfully invited to celebrate Chic's life.

Thereafter the family warmly invite you to join them at John Carrigans Blantyre to reminisce and continue to share the stories of Chic with them.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR MRS MARION BLAIR

On behalf of Marion’s family, we wish to share the details of her funeral arrangements.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 11th August 2026 at 10:00am at St Peter’s RC Church, Hamilton, followed by interment at Bent Cemetery.

Marion will be received into the church on Monday 10th August at 6:00pm.

A Rosary will be held at the family home on Sunday 9th August at 6:00pm.

Family and friends are warmly and respectfully invited to attend.

During her illness, Marion received care at The Beatson. In her memory, the family would like to support The Beatson Cancer Charity by raising funds to help others facing cancer. Should you wish to make a donation in Marion’s memory, you may do so using the link below.

Maureen Rodwell.

Suddenly at home on Friday 3rd July 2026 , Maureen passed away at the age of 55 years.

Arlene MacNeill

Keiron McSherry

Suddenly at Hairmyres Hospital on 30th May 2026, Keiron sadly passed away he was a much loved Partner, Dad, Son, Brother & Grandson and a friend to many, he will be sadly missed by all.
