If you need help at any time, ask for it. And if someone offers you support, let them give it. 🤍

It’s okay to accept a helping hand, whether that means someone doing the shopping, taking care of chores, or watching the baby for an hour so you can rest.

It’s okay to say, “I’m struggling.” Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

We are here for you. Our helpline is open Mon-Fri 10am-2pm or simply email us at [email protected].

As part of Birth Trauma Awareness Week (13–19 July), we’re trying to raise awareness of the far-reaching impact of birth trauma through a new survey exploring the true cost of birth trauma; not just the financial costs, but the emotional, physical, relational and professional impacts too.

We’d be incredibly grateful if you could help us spread the word by sharing our survey and social media post with your followers and networks.

Survey is here: https://us10.list-manage.com/survey?u=55e9e8eb5fa8a9c2ab28b7925&id=0a9bb34f5d&attribution=false

Every share helps us reach more people and build a clearer picture of the lasting impact of birth trauma. Thank you so much for your support, it really does make a difference.

If you're living with postnatal illness, rest is one of the most important things you can give yourself.

When you have a newborn to care for and a never-ending list of chores, resting can feel difficult or even impossible. But exhaustion can make symptoms feel more intense, so try to take opportunities to rest whenever they arise.

Even a short lie down on the sofa or in bed while your baby is sleeping can help. Healing takes time. Be kind to yourself, let go of what can wait, and prioritise rest whenever you can.
